Coming off a bye week, Alabama A&M head coach Connell Maynor talked about the Bulldogs’ upcoming contest Saturday at Prairie View A&M. Donald Hill-Eley, head coach at Alabama State, addressed questions regarding this team’s Saturday home game against Jackson State.
Grambling State head coach Broderick Fobbs talked about the Tigers’ disappointing 17-10 loss to Prairie View A&M in the State Fair Classic. He also took a moment to discuss offensive Mark Orlando who resigned as the team’s offensive coordinator on Sunday.

UAPB head coach Doc Gamble, coming off a bye week after a season-opening win against Southern, addressed the Golden Lions’ road trip against Grambling State. Mississippi Valley State head coach Vincent Dancy commented on his team’s season-opening loss to Jackson State.
Prairie View A&M’s Eric Dooley talked about his team’s State Fair Classic win over Grambling State and the Panthers’ next match against Alabama A&M.
Southern University head coach Dawson Odums, coming off of a bye week, talked about his upcoming game against Texas Southern, while TSU head coach Clarence McKinney spoke similarly about playing the Jaguars.
Jackson State’s Deion Sanders spoke about his team’s 43-7 blowout win over Mississippi Valley State and even fielded questions about his professional baseball career.
